FitTech Club is an exclusive membership-based business club for fitness, wellness & consumer health industry leaders. Its core purpose is to foster personal connections, trust-building and knowledge sharing between founders, business owners and executives in this fast-growing industry.
- Industry focus: Your company should be active in fitness, wellness, or consumer health and either actively employing technology already, or seeking to enter this market in the nearest future.
- Company position: Founders, CEOs, owners of business, as well as high-level executives (CxO, VP, Director).
- Business size: Your business must be generating >€500k in revenue, or you must have raised >€500k.
- Personal fit: You should be willing to share your knowledge in abundance and open the doors for other members.

Although we cannot disclose everyone in our community, we are happy to give you some details. Our members are founders, owners of business, as well as high-level executives (CxO, VP, Director) from the fitness, wellness, or consumer health (tech) industries. They are concentrated in Europe and the USA, although we do have 20+ countries represented! You can see some members here, and you can also download a sample list to give you an idea. Roughly 60% of the members identify fitness (tech) as their primary industry, 30% come from the wellness side of the market, and around 10% from the health segment. We absolutely love this mix, since we believe the borders between different market segments are blurring, and members from adjacent segments need to talk to each other.
- Mastermind group: This is your personal peer advisory board. Please note that this is the only part of the Club that is mandatory. Moderated time-boxed sessions take place once a month for around 90 minutes. The groups consist of 7-9 non-competing members from similar market segments (like GymTech, connected fitness, or consumer health) or in similar functions (like investors, CPOs, or b2b sales leaders). We typically match members with the same seniority level. You will usually experience around 10 sessions per year as part of your membership. We expect you to stick with your group for at least 6 months, after which you can switch to a different group.
- Digital community: Each month, we offer 1-1 connection sessions for members. After you sign up, we will match you to another member with similar interests and potential partnership opportunities - based on an algorithm and personal curation. You will also be able to join monthly topic-based online roundtables for members to dive deeper into what matters for the industry: from use of AI to sales strategies. The topics are defined based on members’ interests and direct inquiries. On top of that, you will join closed online channels, gain access to the member directory, and receive the regular member newsletter.
- In-person connections: Nothing beats a personal connection! That’s why we offer dedicated dinners and gatherings during the industry’s leading events, like FIBO, IHRSA, or ISPO.
- Surprise goodies: Every now and then, we surprise our members with goodies like discounted tickets to partner events, access to the latest digital product releases, or heavily discounted pricing for hardware products by our members and partners. Anything that helps you to get better insights into the industry can be a goodie!
After you join the FitTech Club, our membership and curation team will begin the process of assigning you to an existing group - or forming a new group around you. We evaluate you first on your company’s segment, and second by your traction (revenue, funding, growth rates), and then seek to group you with other similar members. We never put competitors in one group, and aspire to create a group mix that will contribute to your learning. The other members in the group will have a deep grasp of your market segment, but will be different enough to provide unexpected insights. Depending on when you join the Club, you will join your first Mastermind session within two to four weeks of your joining.
We run Mastermind groups around gym technology, consumer health & wellness, connected hardware & wearables, digital fitness, investments, and more. We are soon starting function-based Mastermind groups for Chief Product Officers, Chief Marketing Officers and Chief Sales Officers and comparable positions that work in non-competing companies and are seeking to deepen their knowledge of the best practices and connect to like-minded industry peers. If an existing group has not yet reached the maximum group size, you can join it given you meet the criteria and all group members have agreed to your nomination.
Mastermind sessions are on Zoom and typically last 90 minutes each to fit in your busy schedules. You will usually experience around 10 sessions per year as part of your membership. As soon as you join a group, you will receive calendar invites for the next months so that you can plan your attendance in advance. Each session is focused around a business challenge that one of the group members is facing. The challenge is prepared and submitted in advance for everyone to get acquainted with it and prepare for the meeting. The challenge preparation usually takes up to 60 minutes. Each meeting is organized by the FitTech team and facilitated by a group leader (either an experienced member of the community, or one of our well-connected experienced Ambassadors), and we follow our own framework for challenge submissions and session structure to ensure the highest value.
A typical challenge that a member submit involves a strategic perspective and has high costs or potential upside attached to it. Here’re some examples of the challenges we have discussed:
- How do I increase customer retention in a mid-sized health club chain?
- Should I go b2b or b2c as a connected fitness startup?
- How do I enter the healthcare market as a fitness company?
- How do I get a potential LP (limited partner) converted from interest to commitment for my health investment fund?
- How do I implement AI in my international company operating in 6+ countries?
- Which distribution channels will be most effective for my hardware startup?
- What are the best practices to run strategic planning for my scale-up?
- How can I launch a digital health offering out of my brick-and-mortar business?
- Which hardware manufacturers should I work with - and what are potential pitfalls?

Additionally to learning about the general best business practices, our community will help you to gain deep insights into the industry’s behind-the-scenes, create an extensive network of leaders focused on making humankind healthy, and discuss your business challenges with peers who really understand what you are talking about.
Events are great! However, they need time to prepare and work through things afterwards. And the biggest problem with events is: You go there, it’s amazing and then it’s over. It’s hard work to stay connected, develop trust and partnership. You also miss things in daily operations and have to catch up afterwards.
